One Mistake We Think Too Many Pet Owners Make When Buying CBD

When people start researching CBD for their dog or cat, they usually have good intentions.

What Nutrients Needed For Overweight Dogs?

They want to buy a quality product.

They spend time reading reviews.

They compare websites.

They look at prices.

They check strengths.

The problem is that many people stop their research just a little too early.

They compare products.

They don’t compare companies.

If you’re looking for Pet CBD, we’d argue that’s one of the biggest mistakes you can make.

Products matter, of course they do.

But the company behind the bottle often tells you far more than the bottle itself ever will.

We’ve All Been Guilty of It

Think about the last time you bought something online.

Maybe it wasn’t CBD.

Maybe it was a dog bed.

A lead.

A new vacuum cleaner.

How long did you actually spend researching the company?

Probably not very long.

Most of us naturally focus on the product because that’s what’s sitting in front of us.

The business quietly fades into the background.

Yet if something goes wrong, the company suddenly becomes the most important part of the purchase.

That’s worth remembering before you click “Add to Basket.”

A Bottle Can’t Answer Questions

This might sound obvious, but it’s something people often forget.

A bottle can tell you the strength.

It can list the ingredients.

It can look expensive.

What it can’t do is explain why those ingredients were chosen.

It can’t explain how the product is manufactured.

It can’t explain the standards the company works to.

That’s where the business itself becomes important.

The more information a company provides before you’ve bought anything, the easier it becomes to trust what you’re buying.

We’ve Always Preferred Explaining Over Selling

One thing we’ve tried to do since the early days is explain our products in plain English.

Not because customers aren’t capable of understanding technical information.

Quite the opposite.

People deserve clear explanations rather than marketing slogans.

We’ve never believed that writing longer product descriptions automatically makes them more useful.

Sometimes the most valuable sentence on a page is the simplest one.

If somebody finishes reading a page and understands the product properly, we’ve done our job.

Human-Grade Means Exactly That

People occasionally ask why we keep mentioning that our CBD products are human-grade.

The answer is simple.

Because they are.

Our products are manufactured to human standards, and that’s something we’ve never wanted to compromise.

The same thinking applies throughout the formulation.

That’s why we’ve continued using human-grade salmon oil rather than treating the carrier oil as an afterthought.

Every ingredient contributes to the finished product.

We don’t believe one ingredient deserves high standards while another can simply be “good enough.”

The Cheapest Product Isn’t Always the Cheapest Decision

Here’s something that’s worth thinking about.

Imagine buying a cheaper product today.

Six weeks later you’re back online because you weren’t particularly impressed.

Suddenly that original saving doesn’t seem quite so significant.

Now imagine buying from a company that answered your questions properly, explained everything clearly and gave you confidence before the order even arrived.

Even if you spent a little more, there’s a good chance you’d feel happier about the decision.

That’s why value and price aren’t always the same thing.

Questions We Think Every Owner Should Ask

Rather than asking,

“Which CBD product is the strongest?”

We’d probably ask questions like these instead.

  • Who actually makes this product?
  • Are the ingredients explained clearly?
  • Why was this carrier oil chosen?
  • Is the company transparent about what it’s selling?
  • Can I easily contact somebody if I need advice?
  • Does the website help me understand the product?

Those questions don’t just help you compare bottles.

They help you compare businesses.

The Pet CBD Market Has Become Noisier

One thing that’s impossible to ignore is how crowded the market has become.

Every month another website appears.

Another new brand launches.

Another company promises something nobody else apparently offers.

Competition isn’t a bad thing.

In fact, it’s generally healthy.

But it does make one thing more difficult.

Working out who’s genuinely experienced and who’s simply good at marketing.

That’s why we think customers should spend a little less time looking at advertising and a little more time looking at substance.

THC Is Still One of the Most Important Subjects

Whenever people ask us about pet CBD, THC is always part of the conversation.

And rightly so.

Dogs and cats are far more sensitive to THC than many people realise.

That’s why we believe businesses should make it absolutely clear what they’re selling.

Transparency isn’t optional.

It’s essential.

Pet owners shouldn’t have to guess.

The information should already be there.

If it isn’t, don’t be afraid to ask.

Trust Takes Longer Than Marketing

Marketing can be created remarkably quickly.

Trust can’t.

Trust comes from consistency.

Doing the right thing repeatedly.

Answering questions honestly.

Using quality ingredients because you believe it’s the right thing to do, not because it creates a better advert.

Those things aren’t particularly dramatic.

They’re simply habits.

Over time, those habits become a reputation.

Why We Think Reputation Matters More Than Ever

A few years ago there were relatively few CBD companies to compare.

Today there are hundreds.

That means reputation has become even more valuable.

When customers have endless choice, they’re naturally drawn towards businesses that feel established, transparent and consistent.

Not necessarily the businesses making the biggest claims.

The businesses making the clearest ones.

Looking Beyond the Marketing

Marketing will always have its place.

Every business needs to explain what it offers.

But eventually marketing reaches its limit.

After that, only the business itself remains.

Its products.

Its standards.

Its reputation.

Its willingness to answer questions.

Those are the things customers remember.

Not the banner that promised 50% off for one weekend only.

Why We Still Believe Simplicity Wins

If somebody asked us what we’ve learned after years of supplying CBD products that customers choose for their pets, we’d probably keep the answer surprisingly simple.

People don’t expect perfection.

They expect honesty.

They expect consistency.

They expect quality.

Most importantly, they expect companies to respect the fact they’re buying something for a much-loved member of the family.

That’s why we’ve always believed that the best businesses don’t simply sell products.

They help customers make decisions they still feel comfortable with long after the bottle has been finished.

And in our opinion, that’s still the standard worth aiming for.
